A single of mum of three has emerged from what she describes as the ‘darkest period of her life’ with a $1 million payout, following her successful CTP claim.
Layla, 55, with the guidance of Law Partners, received a lump sum payout for her pain and suffering, past and future economic loss and was even awarded domestic assistance for life after sustaining serious injuries in a car accident in May 2019.
“When the accident happened and before I called Law Partners, I never could have imagined a result like this – I didn’t even know I was entitled to lump sum compensation,” Layla admitted.

“I randomly bumped into a friend who asked about mum and how she was doing. The assessment determined that Layla sustained enough permanent physical impairment (12 percent) to qualify for lump sum compensation. But it was Ben’s ability to accurately represent and articulate how Layla’s injuries impacted her life and ability to care for her disabled son, that convinced the assessor to award the $1 million payout and domestic assistance for life.
