I believe that as a professional working in personal injury law, you obviously need to strive to achieve the best outcome for your client, but also it’s so important to have empathy and be that support network for the client who quite often is experiencing the most difficult period they’ve ever encountered.
I’ve notched up over 20 years’ experience working in the legal industry across a number of areas but the opportunity to work in personal injury law has been particularly special and rewarding because of the ability to positively impact a client’s life.
The responsibility that we have as a legal team guiding clients through the claims process is never lost on me – it’s always a great privilege. And in order to return that show of faith, it’s imperative that we always establish an open communication channel that allows clients the chance to ask as many questions as they like, so they can feel at ease knowing their claim is in capable hands.
Career highlight:
A specific highlight doesn’t come to mind but it’s so special to be able to help a client in need reach the finish line in their claim and achieve a successful outcome.
In my own time:
In my spare time, I’m either working in my role as Secretary of my church, out camping, on a boat enjoying Lake Macquarie or Crossfit training.
