Shenelle Prakash

I started my law career in 2023, and have worked to become a workers compensation paralegal. I began my career with a desire to advocate for what’s right, with a goal to help the community around me get through the hardships that come with injury.

I was drawn to Law Partners after seeing the significant impact the team here is able to make on the lives of their clients. I find navigating the complex workers compensation system to be rewarding, especially when it leads to favourable outcomes for my clients.

Many of my clients cannot work or support themselves due to their injuries or illnesses, and this can be a very challenging period for them as they often feel helpless and rely on support from friends or family. My goal is to serve every client as best as I can with compassion and care, aiming to positively improve their situation.

Career highlight:

Becoming a paralegal has been a huge highlight for me. I take great pride in being able to make a meaningful contribution to my team and our clients.

In my own time:

I’m very involved with friends and family – whether it’s going out to drink, eat, or explore new places or try new activities, the little things bring me joy.
