I started working in law 20 years ago. My first job was in a generalised legal practice but I was quickly drawn to the personal injury claims team. Working on behalf of injured people is a natural fit for me and personal injury law provides a good mix of legal challenges as well as personal interaction. These claims can make a real difference to the lives of people who are injured and often struggling, and I don’t think I could get the same sense of usefulness and satisfaction in many other areas of law.
There are so many Australians who are injured or chronically unwell and are unaware of their insurance entitlements. These people often miss out on lump sum payouts that could help get their life back on track. I really enjoy helping people through the TPD claims process – from advising them of their entitlements, guiding them through the claims process and ultimately achieving a great result that can change their lives for the better.
Career highlight:
I have a real respect for emergency service workers who experience PTSD as a result of repeated exposure to traumatic situations in the course of doing their job. It’s hugely satisfying for me when I’m able to assist people like this to achieve a successful outcome in their TPD claim.
In my own time:
I enjoy spending quality time with the people closest to me in life.
I truly can’t thank the team at Law Partners enough. The amazing work that Jennifer and her team and Elyse and her team are doing for me is appreciated beyond what I can convey here in a short review.
The friendly, thorough and professional manner in which they’ve all approached my case has helped me tremendously during this difficult period in my life.
Hear from Jennifer's client.
Jennifer was like a tiger the way she fought for me.
A serious work injury left Regina’s life in tatters. She felt as though she was out of options until a friend recommended Law Partners where she was connected with TPD specialist Jennifer, who would go on to have a lasting impact on Regina and her family.
