I firmly believe every problem has a solution. If it doesn’t, it’s not a problem, it’s a conclusion – which I strive to learn from and move on.
I came to Australia as a refugee and given my background, I wanted to initially pursue international law and get involved with the UN Refugee Agency. With my primary drive to make a real difference and help people, I soon found personal injury law and it’s been such a great fit and I haven’t looked back since.
My experience has taught me the value of active listening, showing empathy and being fully committed to understanding how the injury or illness has not only impacted the client but also they’re entire family – which is the key to ensuring an optimal outcome in every claim.
Career highlight:
For me, it was a particular case that I was handling for a family who was dealing with an extremely traumatic loss. During this difficult time, I managed to make the claims process easier on them by managing it with humility, respect and empathy they deserved. I remember I received a written compliment from the family thanking me for the way I handled the claim and the settlement conference.
In my own time:
‘Off the clock’ you will find me spending time with my family and friends or reading and playing with my pets.
