My professional career has always been in personal injury law, specialising in superannuation and insurance claims. I was drawn to this field as it allows me to help people going through a very difficult time their lives.
My clients may be facing financial hardship due to medical bills and lost wages, and they may be struggling to recover physically or emotionally from their injuries or illnesses. It’s comforting to know that helping navigate and secure superannuation insurance payouts alleviates some of the financial burden, giving my clients the peace of mind they need to focus on healing.
Career highlight:
Helping a client who’d been off work for a lengthy period was a major highlight. He was about to lose his home, forcing his family into homelessness. The insurance company had denied his claim based on a technicality in their policy wording. I submitted two appeals which were both denied. To our great relief, my third appeal was successful, and the insurer approved my client’s benefit for a figure of over $1 million.
In my own time:
My passion outside of work is my family. I love nothing more than spending quality time with my wife and kids.
