Many lawyers have the technical ability to run a successful case but being able to connect with your client through a personal approach is what separates the great lawyers from the good lawyers. And it’s this combination that my team and I bring to every case.
A career in law wasn’t something I always dreamed of, but when I finished school, I had the marks to study law and I decided to pursue it. From the first class I took – I loved it and luckily for me, I was very good at it. Fast-forward all these years later and that passion to practice law and succeed on behalf of my clients still burns brighter than ever.
My years of experience have taught me the true value of having empathy in order to be successful in personal injury law. The first piece of advice I give to all young solicitors is to always treat your client the way you would want to be treated if you were in their situation. This is the only way to fully comprehend how the injury has really impacted the client and this deep understanding will best equip you to ultimately claim maximum compensation on their behalf.
As a Principal, what I’m proud of most is the firm-wide commitment to client care. Law Partners has always been a firm where clients can come and be genuinely looked after and it’s my duty to ensure we continue to provide the industry’s best legal support and care.
Career highlight:
I’m not one to list career highlights, I’m just so grateful that I’m in a position to make a difference in people’s lives. Whether that’s getting a client compensation and treatment they’re entitled to or mentoring our young legal professionals and aiding in their development.
In my own time:
Away from work (which isn’t often), I love to connect with the people who matter most to me. I also love putting my feet up and enjoying good food and wine.
