Catie Norman
Senior Managing Solicitor
I treat every case like it’s personal. Because for my clients, it is. I’m here to uncover every detail, challenge every assumption, and stand by them every step of the way.
I didn’t plan to become a personal injury lawyer, but I’ve always been drawn to helping people navigate difficult systems. Growing up, I saw how confusing and overwhelming the legal process could be, especially for those without support or resources. That sense of injustice stayed with me, and it’s what drives me today.
After completing my law degree, I found myself in personal injury law almost by chance. It turned out to be the perfect fit. As I quickly realised how much I valued the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives, especially during some of their toughest moments.
Over the years, I’ve built a reputation for being meticulous, compassionate, and fiercely committed to my clients. I don’t just read reports, I visit accident scenes, analyse the detail, and challenge assumptions. I dig deep into the evidence to uncover the truth, and I don’t stop until I’ve built the strongest possible case – whether it’s proving a client wasn’t at fault or showing the full impact of an injury on someone’s life.
I believe in honest, clear communication. My clients always know where they stand, what’s coming next, and that I’m right beside them throughout the process. It’s not just about winning cases, it’s about support and compassion as we restore dignity, security, and peace of mind.
Career highlight:
Some of my proudest moments include helping clients overturn unfair decisions and secure life-changing compensation. At Law Partners, this has included the $285,000 settlement for a man wrongly blamed for a road accident, or the $466,000 payout for a mental health nurse whose injuries had profoundly reshaped his life. These cases remind me why I do what I do.
In my own time:
I love to travel and spend time with my family, including my energetic boxer dog! Exploring new places helps me recharge and stay curious.
