As Managing Solicitor, I pride myself on being an expert communicator and a resourceful negotiator. These are the attributes necessary to turn a good outcome into an optimal outcome.

For the first part of my career, I worked for a large insurer managing Supreme Court claims, but it was a strong internal desire to use my skills to help injured Australians receive all their entitlements, that pushed me to shift my focus and act for claimants. And it’s turned out to be the best decision of my professional career.

In over 35 years as a personal injury specialist, I’ve been lucky enough to notch up some fantastic milestones and achieve some wonderful things, but nothing comes close to being able to deliver a result that far exceeds a client’s expectation. This is what I strive to achieve for every client, and it’s this strong desire that has proven to be the key to my success and longevity in the industry.

Career highlight:

A few years back, I successfully negotiated a settlement of $3.9 million for a client who was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident. Looking back at my career, this result certainly stands out, however, if I was to truly list my career highlights, it would be every time I helped a client receive absolutely everything they’re entitled to.

In my own time:

I am and have always been what you would call a ‘sports nut’. Whether it’s football, rugby league or tennis, I love watching and debating all aspects of professional sport. I also enjoy spending quality time with family and friends – it’s truly special to be able to create lasting memories with the people closest to you.
