My philosophy is simple, no two clients are ever the same, which is why it’s so imperative to take the time to listen and understand each client’s story. Without doing so, it’s almost impossible to achieve an optimal outcome – which is what every client deserves.
My family and I immigrated to Australia from war-torn Eastern Europe in 1998 and if it wasn’t for Australia’s legal system, we would never have been granted the opportunity to start a new life. This is what inspired me to become a lawyer – to assist people who truly need it. And after I graduated university, I quickly discovered that personal injury law was the area I could best use my skills to really enrich people’s lives – and I haven’t looked back since.
Injury and illness can strike anyone at any time, devastating not only the individual but also their loved ones. It gives me so much satisfaction to be able to ease the burden that comes with navigating a complex legal system, so that my clients can focus on their recovery knowing their claim is on the right track.
Career highlight:
It has to be one of my first settlements when I was a Junior Solicitor. I was handling a claim for a client involved in a serious motor vehicle accident and I managed to settle the matter for $500,000. I’ll never forget the joy in my client’s voice when I shared the good news.
In my own time:
I love spending time outdoors. Whether it’s bushwalking or going to the beach, I love being surrounded by nature.
