It might sound obvious, but honesty is something every injured Australian navigating the compensation system needs and deserves. This value is the foundation of quality client care, which I try to deliver to every claimant.
I kind of fell into personal injury law after I joined a secretary rotational program at a previous firm and the first area of law that I was moved into was personal injury – specialising in CTP claims. I immediately found the work both interesting and meaningful and so I decided to pursue a career in personal injury law and haven’t looked back.
It’s so incredibly rewarding to be able to work in a profession that enables me to make things a lot easier for people who are usually in a desperate situation after an unexpected injury.
Career highlight:
Receiving the news that I had been promoted to Senior Paralegal. It was really unexpected at the time and something I’m extremely proud of.
In my own time:
I love being outdoors. Going camping, four-wheel driving, rock climbing – it’s so great to get outside amongst nature, particularly with family.
