Niall Connolly

I was admitted to practice in NSW in 1994 and have extensive experience as a litigator across multiple jurisdictions, including medical negligence, personal injury, catastrophic injury claims, work health damages, dust diseases and administrative law matters.

Coming from a medical family, I chose to specialise in medical negligence law. I’ve developed a strong understanding of the medicine and science behind each claim, working closely with experts and progressing matters with the aim of resolving them as efficiently as possible.

My experience includes surgical negligence, delayed diagnosis, obstetrics and birth trauma, and mental harm claims. I’ve worked in plaintiff firms in Sydney, as a sole practitioner, and as Special Counsel in a Darwin firm, working across a range of jurisdictions.

As a Special Counsel, I’m committed to providing clear and practical advice while supporting clients through what is often a challenging time.
