I’ve always been the type of person who offers his time to listen to people’s issues (no matter how complex) with a view to solve them. This is one of the reasons why I chose to pursue a career in law. Luckily for me, my very first job in the legal industry was at a personal injury firm. I immediately identified with this area of law because it allowed me to do what I’ve always strived for – to help people and bring them the support and care they deserve.
From the outset, I try to establish strong rapport with each one of my clients. I do this by being honest, courteous and available, while at the same time maintaining my professionalism. I believe my approach helps build trust, providing my clients with peace of mind during their claim, while providing a space where they’re comfortable asking questions and discussing what can be sensitive subjects.
Career highlight:
My career highlight was when I handled a complex claim for a client involved in a serious motor vehicle accident during the course of their employment. I was able to settle the claim for over $1,000,000. I will never forget the joy on my client’s face (and their family’s), and the sense of justice and relief they all received once the matter was settled.
In my own time:
In my own time, I like to spend quality time with my family, including travelling to new places. I also like to watch sports – especially soccer and tennis.
Qualifications and accreditations:
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
- Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.
- Admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW.
- Member of the Law Society of NSW.
- Independent Review Office Approved Lawyer.
