I believe in first seeking to understand before seeking to be understood. Gaining clarity on what a client aims to achieve is crucial, as it allows me to tailor my advice and strategy to meet their specific needs.
I worked as a journalist for nine years, during which time I covered both criminal and civil court cases. Watching these proceedings sparked my interest in the law, and I later worked as a media advisor for a personal injury firm. During this time, I discovered my drive to advocate for personal injury clients as well as an admiration of those who stand against injustice.
Now working in law, I approach my role with the empathy and care my clients deserve. This, coupled with my curiosity and drive to seek information, allows me to build rapport and understanding with each of my clients, approaching their claims with an open mind.
Career highlight:
My legal career is just beginning, but I can’t wait to win my first case on behalf of a deserving client!
In my own time:
I’m passionate about politics, news, and storytelling. I’m always reading articles, opinion pieces, and books. I’m also a big fan of podcasts. Whether I’m cooking, walking the dog, or driving, I’ll usually be listening to something informative or entertaining.
