Andrew Johnston
General Counsel
I believe in a people-first approach. I strive to treat every one of my clients with the kindness and empathy they deserve.
I became a lawyer because I wanted to be able to use my skills and knowledge to help people. I chose personal injury law specifically as it allows me to work for people, and to advocate on behalf of clients who have suffered injustice and injury. The work I do here aligns with my personal values of standing up for vulnerable people and advocating for my community.
I take the time to get to know my clients and understand what’s most important to them. I ensure I’m approaching each client with empathy and communicating effectively, in plain language, which helps me build strong, supportive relationships with each of my clients.
Career highlight:
There’s no single highlight – I find it fulfilling to achieve successful outcomes for each individual client, making a meaningful difference in their lives.
In my own time:
In my free time I love being a dad to my two young kids, following the Australian cricket teams, and attending live music (when I can).
