FREE advice. Call 13 15 15Applications for the National Redress Scheme close on 30 June 2027. There’s no time limit for making a damages claim for institutional abuse. You can still make a damages claim after the redress scheme closes, but only if you haven’t accepted a redress scheme payment.
Evidence for your claim may include your medical records, employment records and government records, as well as witness statements from people like classmates, family and friends. But you don’t need to worry about what evidence you have – your lawyer will guide you through the process and gather the evidence for you.
